EMMANUEL NEW LIFE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS is a private co-educational day school comprising a:

  • Creche (Daycare)
  • Nursery & Primary School (Pre-Nursery to Primary 6)
  • College (JSS1- SSS3) 


The schools are located at 28 Ikot Awak Road, Ikot Ekpene on a beautifully landscaped environment. The school provides well equipped teaching facilities, safe, comfortable, and conducive environment for harmonious learning and all-round development. Central to our working ethos is the success of every student in the school and for us this means a high-quality learning experience in every classroom and excellent behaviour. This prospectus is designed as a guide to ensure we are all working together as a team and to give the children the best possible learning opportunities. SCHOOLS' MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE

School Board of Directors

These consist of members of the Board of directors. They oversee the realization of the vision and mission of the schools. They also play an advisory role to the school administration and helps ensure that the aims and objectives of the founders of the school are achieved. The board of directors reflects a unique and diverse experienced array of business and educationally experienced men and women.

Schools' Administration

The schools' Administration are those involved in the day to day running of the schools and provide suggestions and reports monthly to the Board. They consists of The Heads of School (Principal/Head teacher), Deputies, HODs/supervisors.

School Curriculum and Assessment

Emmanuel New Life International Schools embrace the Nigeria Universal Basic Education Policy which stipulates nine years of basic continuous education for all children. We adhere to the Nigerian Basic Education curriculum. However, the school enriches this curriculum with emphasis on literacy, Numeracy, Personal & Social Skill, Knowledge and understanding of the world.

The Junior Secondary Curriculum is planned to provide a strong foundation for success for all our students throughout their senior studies. During their three years in the Junior Secondary School students study the seventeen (17) subjects contained in the National Curriculum: English, Mathematics, Basic Science, Social Studies, Basic Technology, Agricultural Science, Computer Science, French, Ibibio, Physical and Health Education, Religion, Music, History, Business Studies, Home Economics, Cultural and Creative Arts and Civic Education. In JSS3, Students are entered for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for the award of Junior School Certificate. 

For the Senior Secondary Classes, the curriculum is centered on the Nigerian requirements of the West African Education Council (WAEC); and the National Examination Council (NECO); It is structured to support students to have access to the best worldwide educational opportunities in their future tertiary studies and to become global citizens who make a signicant contribution to the lives of others. This is an integral part of the teaching process. We ensure students are continuously assessed through formative and summative assessments and given feedback through scores/grades.

Awards, Gifts And Recognitions

The school recognizes the efforts of pupils, students, teachers, parents for their contributions towards the growth and development of the school. Awards, gifts and recognitions are always given to deserving recipients at given times. Parents and benefciaries who qualify for scholarships are notified. This is based on

FACILITIES

Daycare Center

Our day care center fosters growth in a warm, supportive environment so your kids can reach their full potential. Services provided at the center for infants and toddlers would include feeding, changing diapers and playing with the babies.

Classrooms

Our Classrooms are well lit, ventilated and spacious with a cap of 30 students per class which allows our teachers to give individual attention to the students. We provide safe and adaptable furniture for our students. This adds to their overall classroom experience.

Laboratories

The school has a new well-equipped laboratory which provides the ideal environment for stimulating interest in science and technology. In the laboratory students learn standard experimental procedures and techniques whilst developing an analytical approach to problem solving. Students with the guidance of their teachers are encouraged to design their experiments, investigations and projects, complementing the theoretical aspects of the science subjects.

ICT Facilities

The college is equipped with a complete computer laboratory that facilitates our pupils/students new technologies learning progress. The lab provides a terminal for each student which has a range of pre-installed software, Windows operating system with the full suite of Office packages, full internet access to support their project work. We also have a projector to provide support to the study using the latest technologies.

Music Studio

The new music room is equipped with a range of good quality instruments including a full drum kit, recorders, a musical keyboard and a selection of percussion and woodwind instruments.

Library

Emmanuel New life International Schools have made available to its pupils/students two spacious libraries with capacity for more than 40 students each. In them, you can see all the necessary material for the study and completing tasks and projects.

Sports Facilities

Multipurpose Sports ground for: basketball, 5-a-side football, handball, volleyball, hockey, table tennis, etc.

Other Facilities

  • The Arts Studio is well setup for inspiring the learning of the visual and /Fine Arts.
  • Our College has a well-equipped workshop/ kitchen for Home Economics/Foods and Nutrition practicals.

Introduction

The schools' approach towards discipline is for every student to acquire self-discipline and responsible conduct to contribute to the overall well-being of all in the school.
